ABOUT

Jessica "Jet" Poindexter-Hatu is originally from Roxboro, North Carolina. She is a graduate of Person High School, C/O 2007. After high school she attended North Carolina Wesleyan University in Rocky Mount, NC where she pursued her college degree and played a collegiate sport. During her years at NCWU, she was elected by NCAA to attend Leadership Conferences. She was also the captain of the softball team.

After college, she settled down to raise her daughter Mallory in Rocky Mount, NC. She spent the last 8 years of her life devoted to a career until she caught the entrepreneur bug. She felt there was more out there and so she took a leap to pursue her passions. She now owns 2 businesses in Rocky Mount, NC and spends a lot of her time with her family. She is married to her loving, devoted husband Amjed and they are a blended family with 3 wonderful children.

During her time away from work, Jet enjoys to travel the world and help others with booking their travel destinations. She has a travel blog called "Jet,Set,GO" and encourages her over 1,100 followers to travel more, experience culture and assist them in developing their own travel plans.
